How exciting to be back on another blog challenge.
How have you been? My life’s been really busy, more than a little challenging in some departments, but completely awesome in others (I’ll share some with you this month). I am still happier than I’ve ever been because that’s what being in business for myself continues to do for me. Hope you’re getting some of that good stuff too 🙂
One thing that’s struck me lately is that I no longer seem to need to wear a watch. Yes, my little watch tan line has gone… see…
In fact I was at a lovely business mixer last night and got in a conversation about this very subject, about how freeing it is, how even though we’re busier than we ever were in the corporate world, we don’t need our watches because our time is now our own!
Tick tock and you don’t stop y’all.
Anyone else feeling this?
P.S. Can’t wait to read all your wonderful words of wisdom this month, fellow UBC bloggers.
P.P.S. I am participating in the Ultimate Blog Challenge this month – 31 days of July, 31 blogs a day if I can. Come join us, it’s really fun!

Uhh 31 blogs a day would be something, wouldn’t it?! You know what I meant 😛
Good luck with the challenge, Gillian!

I haven’t worn a watch in years. There are times I miss it, but for the most part, I prefer not being a slave to time.
Greta post. I look forward to more.
*31 post a day would be exhausting! lol. I’m doing the Ultimate Challenge too.
Glad to be starting another challenge. The accountability is super! Looking forward to reading your posts. Good luck!
Hey Gillian,
I’m in the UBC too, though I decided to stop wearing a watch when my son was born as for me it meant clock watching, which meant responsibility, which meant growing up, and I sure didn’t want to grow up. I wanted to play like a child with my son, climb trees, water fights and mud pies…I loved it. My husband would say I still haven’t grown up, but I have noticed he seems younger since he met me.
I’m doing the blog challenge too! Good luck and keep that watch off!
