Some days contain such diverse activities that at the end of it I’m not sure how I feel. Except I think I like precisely that…the off-kilter feeling. I’ve consistently gravitated to the quirky, unusual, just outside the box kind of stuff. You might say I’ve always liked odd, in an even kind of way.
When you’re in one groove that ends in a satisfying tied-up-with-a-bow kind of way, how easily can you move into the next one? Can you use your feel-good reserves to tackle a less than favorite task and still have a little left over at the end of the day? I think the key is simply to be aware, to pay attention to yourself, make sure you’re actually plugged in to the sweet socket so you get charged up with enough of that honey to tackle the sour.
I believe you can.

P.S. I am participating in the Ultimate Blog Challenge this month – 31 days of July, a blog a day if I can.

Looks like it tastes pretty good. Is it like lemon tea or something?
Hi Julian – it’s a pot of honey, so lemon tea sweetened with honey works 🙂
I know exactly how you feel. You are clipping along and getting stuff done. Then at the end of the day, you look back and feel like you didn’t get done what you set out to do but you still accomplished alot of what needed to be done. It’s like half of your brain has been satisfied.
Yes indeed, thanks Jennifer.
