Row, Row, Row Your Boat

Gently down the stream
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily
Life is but a dream

I don’t think I’m at liberty to drift along merrily, aimlessly, in the stream any more.  I mean I still drift merrily on occasion, but no longer without intention and not for very long.  In fact I’d say my drift is more of a hover.

Stop, take stock and then off we go…on our merry way, just not drifting.

It’s not that I don’t like being without a care in the world, it’s more that there are so many things to do and see. Now I really want to do and see them, not just dream about doing them and seeing them.

How about you?  Are you drifting and dreaming, or taking stock and doing?

P.S. I am participating in the Ultimate Blog Challenge this month – 31 days of July, a blog a day if I can.

  1. I understand the desire to achieve and not just dream. There is a time to dream and a time for action. There is a time to allow the universe to supply you with your needs and a time to push past your own limitations. Hoping you achieve all you desire.

  2. Love this post, Gillian! And I love (and envy!) how you deliver such a great message in the shortest time. 🙂
